The Game Is You.

Game Is Your Life

No second chances and no looking back. Your mind was molded with meaning well before you could even begin to wonder about this world. You came from a tribe of people who instilled in you certain values and aspirations, truths about your world and what it means and for better or worse, tinted your vison for what this life is supposed to be. History has shaped you through your unconscious youth and moment by moment your experiences with people have sharpened certain behaviors and dulled others.

You didn’t choose to be born and you didn’t choose this pre-disposition, but you must make your peace with this world. The game begins the moment that you become the guiding force in your life. You will need to learn that the world is what you see it to be. We are story tellers. We are narrative creatures and the critical lesson we must learn is how to write a story that maps on to reality and gets us what we want. The best players of this game are the best story tellers. Every moment of their lives is interpreted, forced into a frame that is beneficial to them. A stronger reality is available to you but it must be exposed, tested, destroyed, and rebuilt many times over.

Game is Action, Exposure, and Change

There is no path in isolation. You want things you don’t have. You want recognition, respect, love. You’ll want pussy, fuck-you money, things that the world will tell you are unfulfilling to have, before you’ve even had a chance to succeed. There are no written rules to this game, your desires can be anything they want but the world will get its say.

What is required of you is action and honest exposure of the self, the story you have told yourself until now. This self-effacing action creates an opportunity for the ego to be fractured, parts of you destroyed and others accepted. You will encounter fear and doubt, you will be lost in the fog of not knowing if it was you or just them.

But just as the nature of the universe is change, you too will change whether you like it or not. You must live a self-examined life; you must seek guidance from those you respect and admire so that the change that occurs is an improvement. You look back, you tell a better story, you keep going. And this skill of interpretation and rapid iteration is developed. You begin to know the game. You take from it what you need, you ignore what you don’t. You become comfortable with the idea that you are a being in flux and the game is infinite. You begin to see the cycles of self clearly. The insane delusional confidence, the fracturing, the doubt, the calmness, the beginners mind, the re-exposure.

This game is fun. It’s a skill and you can learn it. You need to know that your doubts are bullshit and your history is just a story. You can change everything. You are living in the age of information, every resource you could want is available to you. You have the opportunity to live a life of design and abundance. Live a life of action and I promise you, it’s worth it. You can learn to love the game, to love the process of change and exposure to this beautiful world.

When you love the process for itself, you win.
